Why Call This Friday Good

Series: Sermons

April 02, 2021

Why call this Friday "Good"? Because this is the day when all is forgiven, and God shows us the power of grace. If there is someone in your life that needs to hear the two hardest words in the English language, “I’m sorry,” I invite you to reach out to that person today, and apologize. Tell them you love them, ask them to forgive you if it’s possible. If you seek forgiveness, from God, or from someone you have wronged, please have that brave conversation today. It will make Easter that much sweeter. Indeed, this way of love, is the way of abundant life. As George Herbert writes, it is “a life that killeth death.”
