All Saints’ is what I call my “home place.” Where I feel I’m known for who I am with no pretense. All Saints’ is a place filled with genuine folks. Now a home place does not mean everything is coming up roses inside. It can be a place that challenges me too. We live and learn and serve together in this home place. We also support our home place as we are able. We do this with our pledge commitments of money to the coming year at church.
I hope we will all spend a few minutes thinking about what All Saints’ means to us and offer our best selves and a meaningful gift to the work of this church. Thank you for joining us in Courageous Giving.
Mary Wyche Lesesne and the 2022 Canvass Leaders: Art Lesesne, Joseph Usher and Matt Bianco
I offer this as you make your 2022 pledge commitment: church is a place where we belong to other people and giving is a promise we make to this community. Here, we are invited to imagine a covenantal life that promises itself to others. In respecting the dignity and integrity of each other, we form a common bond of love and faithfulness to one another and pledge to do together what we cannot do alone. Thank you for making your 2022 pledge today.
