Join the Welcome Team

Our Welcome Team invites new members to join our ministry of hospitality. The commitment is fun and easy: greeting parishioners and guests on Sundays and also during special events and services. Serve as an Usher During Services on Sundays

The usher ministry invites volunteers to serve as friendly faces and provide a warm welcome to all who enter our church doors. Our ministry is one of hospitality and assistance to all worshipers, giving extra attention and help to visitors and those with special needs. As a team, ushers distribute bulletins, collect offerings, provide attendance counts and guide worshipers to communion. During the program year, each 9:00 a.m. usher team serves for a month at a time and three (3) times per year. Each 11:15 a.m. usher team serves for a month at a time and four (4) times a year. Refugee Ministries

Welcome a New Family to the United States

The first three months after arrival are often very challenging for a newly arrived refugee family. Many families experience isolation, which we can help alleviate by offering much needed hope and support through hospitality and welcome. Learn more and sign up to volunteer >>

Opportunities for Fellowship

• Deliver Backpacks
  We have backpacks full of school supplies to deliver to students in our refugee ministries program! Email Louisa Merchant to sign up to deliver backpacks to Clarkston.
• Swimming Buddies
  Cool off with Refugee Ministries this summer and enjoy some swimming fun in the sun with our refugee friends at a parishioner's home. Volunteers are need to transport our refugee friends.
• Swimming Buddies 
  Spend the day swimming with our refugee friends!

Make a donation of new or gently used clothing 

• Items most need are:
  • New or gently used children's clothing and new shoes for summer.
  • School uniforms: white, light blue, or navy collared shirts and khaki or navy pants and shorts. All sizes, boys and girls styles are needed.
  • New sneakers, boys sizes 5-10
• Donation boxes are located on the first floor of the Pritchett Center and in the first floor stairwell between Ellis Hall and Egleston Hall.

Respite Care Atlanta (RCA)

Volunteer on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and/or Thursdays

Looking for a fun, flexible and fulfilling volunteer job? Come to Respite Care Atlanta! Respite Care Atlanta(RCA) is a program designed to provide joy filled care for those suffering from dementia and "respite" for their caregivers. All Saints' is one of nine congregations who support it, and our own Martha Sterne was instrumental in getting it underway. All Saints' has a list of wonderful volunteers, but we always need more!

Housed at Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church at Peachtree and East Wesley, RCA serves "members" of Club RCA on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and/or Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. With a very small professional staff, volunteers carry the program in varying shifts and roles. You can be a greeter, a lunch server, a program or exercise leader, help with arts and crafts, a member of the "goodbye" team or a companion for the duration. Hours and shifts vary, and the best is its flexibility. If you can't come, you just don't sign up! It is truly a joyful place. Each volunteer must attend an hour-long information session. Covenant Community

Share a Monday Meal 

Please consider bringing dinner to the men of Covenant Community, the residential program for men recovering from substance abuse on a Monday night. These meals are called Insight Dinners, and may either be shared with the men inside the residence or they can be dropped off sometime during the day.
