Why is All Saints' Taking Action?

For over 30 years, All Saints’ has been committed to refugee ministry, welcoming families in need and supporting them as they build new lives. This dedication is rooted in faith, a call to human solidarity, and the belief that all people—regardless of nationality, gender, or economic status—are beloved by God.

Today, refugee families face an urgent crisis. Federal financial support, which once provided six months of assistance, has been reduced to just one month. Without intervention, families who have already endured hardship risk homelessness and instability. As a community, we choose to stand in solidarity, to offer hope, and to make a tangible difference in their lives.

As Rev. Dr. Simon Mainwaring, Rector of All Saints' has shared, "It is easy to feel helpless in the face of widespread disruption and discord, yet I do believe that there is power in a community that chooses to do one thing as well as it can such that it might make a difference. This is our present hour's one thing."

The Goal

Our goal is to raise $12,500 per family to provide six months of support. We want to support the six families currently being served by our All Saints’ Refugee Ministries and aspire to help as many families as possible. We aim to make this a galvanizing event for All Saints', uniting us in faith and action.
