The Welcome Table: Sunday Evening Worship Service and Dinner
Sundays at 5:00 p.m., In the Chapel, Followed by dinner in Ellis Hall
Before your busy week begins, the Welcome Table is a place to join with others and find rest and refreshment. Come to the Welcome Table: a re-imagined service with a jazz trio, singing, communion and prayer (together and in ways that speak to us individually). A community dinner for all participants follows the service. All are welcome.
The Welcome Table Jazz Combo is made up of the finest jazz musicians in Atlanta, who excel at bringing the jazz style into worship. Anchored by our own Rev. Andy Barnett at piano, saxophonist Will Scruggs, and bassist Kevin Smith, the group regularly features special guests, creating an intimate, unique, and communal jazz worship experience in the heart of Midtown Atlanta.
