Our People

Rick Woodward

Recent Parish Activities include:
I have served as an usher for more than 25 years and I currently captain a 9:00 usher team and have overall responsibility for the four 9:00 teams. I have helped to involve our young people in ushering during our youth services and at other times. For the past 20+ years, I have helped All Saints’ with matters related to insurance and risk management. I am active in the rejuvenated men’s group. I served on the board of trustees for Canterbury Court and am still active as an emeritus trustee.

Strengths and skills I can offer the vestry:
I will bring my years of experience at All Saint’s along with 40 plus years in insurance and risk management experience to the vestry. I am eager to help Al Saints’ grow and prosper in our changing world.

Rick would also like you to know:
Susan Marshall and I were married recently. We now have blended family of four children and three grandchildren between us and many new friends. Susan and I love to travel and spend time with our grandkids. I am a frequent, if unskilled, golfer. I am a member of the All Saints’ Thursday Night Bible Study Group as well as a monthly lunch gathering of All Saints’ men. Finally, I have experienced the warmth and support of the All Saints’ community when my beloved wife Kay died suddenly seven years ago. My family and I were able to get through this dark period largely because of the support of our wonderful church family.
