I serve in the following roles at All Saints':
- 9:00 a.m. Usher (Virgin team)
- the Chair of the Memorials & Gifts Committee,
- 2023-24 Monthly Roundtable
- part of the Member Selection team for the Music Director.
Previously I served in other roles in finance, stewardship and education.
Strengths and skills I can offer the vestry:
I can offer perspective on past events, having been a member of All Saints' for more than 40 years. I can also offer leadership for ongoing committee work. I also bring finance, accounting, and management experience from my professional career as a small business owner. I am willing to listen, evaluate and move toward action plans once the facts have been gathered and verified.
Charlie would also like you to know:
I have been married to Helen for 50 years, (our anniversary will be in summer of 2024). We have two daughters, both living in Atlanta and one grandchild. We value our family time. I have worked in our family business, CARLYLE'S Corporate Food Service and served as Treasurer of the company. Further, I have been involved in civic and neighborhood organizations for a number of years. We have a deep attachment to All Saints,' its members, mission and community; All Saints' is a significant part of my life.
