Heather Cotton
Director of Communications
Heather Cotton serves as our Director of Communications. Heather was born in Atlanta and grew up on the Georgia coast in Brunswick. She completed her BA in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in English and Secondary Education at Armstrong Atlantic State University and her MS in Strategic Communications at Troy University. Having worked in corporate and nonprofit communications, Heather has experience in marketing, public relations, social and digital media management, brand management, community engagement, and media. She and her husband, Ross, have two children, Nikolas McGill and Lauren McGill who attend college at Massachusetts Maritime Academy and Kennesaw State University respectively. Although they will miss Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church in Brunswick, Ross and Heather are excited about relocating to Atlanta. In her free time, Heather enjoys kayaking, paddle boarding, photography, and volunteering.
