Michael Kennedy
All Saints' Member since 2007
Recent parish activities include:
I have served on the Finance Committee in the past. I also chaired the Compensation Committee which was charged in implementing the new compensation plan for lay clergy. I currently serve as the Chair of the ESG Task Force which was asked to review All Saints’ approach to ESG and to make a recommendation to the Endowment Committee. I have also served for many years as a member of the Grants Committee that provided some funding to local non-profit organizations.
Strengths and skills I can offer the vestry:
I have a professional background in finance and investments. In addition, I have had the opportunity to be in leadership roles and chairing several large non-profits. In these roles, I have led efforts on strategic planning. I expect to bring my finance and strategic planning skills to the Vestry. Finally, I have been involved in human capital initiatives which could be helpful in developing internal talent and addressing succession planning.
