Since 2008, our Director of Refugee Ministries, Louisa, has been active in connecting All Saints’ with the refugee community in Clarkston and Stone Mountain. Louisa has Masters’ degrees in Spanish and Psychology, more than two decades of teaching experience, and she was the assistant principal of an Islamic school. Louisa connects volunteers with each other and helps them to navigate cultural communication with 50 + former refugee families from the Middle East, East and Central Africa, the Bhutan/Nepal, Myanmar and Colombia. The focus of her work is on creating community and opportunities for healing from trauma, and the ministry of relationship.
