Dear saints,
This Sunday, four members of our parish who have given themselves to public service in the State of Georgia will help us experience together what it looks like to have reasonable and civil dialogue about political life in a forum called ‘Georgia Voices’. Of course, the capacity to dialogue with others across our differences and remain one body is what characterizes the Anglican way. In other words, our particular tradition within Christianity is made for listening. As well as attending that forum on Sunday morning, I do hope that you will take up the opportunity to help us listen to your voice as we continue in this season as a church to ask how the Holy Spirit is present in our daily lives and in our life as a parish. There will be opportunities to join small group conversations on this topic as well as a chance to engage in a one-on-one conversation should you wish to. Do let me know if you are interested.
