Several years ago we had to move out of the rectory of the church I served because the home needed some remediation for mold. Because it was caused by a leak, the insurance company paid for us to stay in a beach-front property and a couple of resort hotels in town. We called it our 'mold-cation’. It was fun for a while, the novelty of it all and so on, but we were ready to move back in when it was all over. Well, my friends, it is not all over quite yet, but we are indeed ready to move back into our beloved church buildings this Sunday after a 'stay-cation’ of our own. Fourteen and a half months later, it’s time to head on back to the block, push through those church doors and settle back in. It will be a little different to how it used to be, at least for a while longer but it will be a homecoming all the same. And for those of you who have joined All Saints’ during the months of this pandemic, it is a delight to be able to share this special place with you for the first time. Welcome home.
