Dear saints,
Has there ever been a season in your lifetime when you have thought more about our collective health? I’ve never been a big fan of graphs, but of late I cannot help myself from studying the daily virus update in the newspaper. Behind the numbers is a complex human story of what we believe about wellness and our social contract for healthcare in this country. Complexity deserves careful conversation, and I am delighted to be able to invite you this Sunday at 9:00 a.m. to join myself and Natosha Reid Rice and Dr. Camara Phyllis Jones as we explore the intersection of health and equity. Dr. Jones is a senior fellow at the Morehouse School of Medicine, and last year was a Radcliffe Fellow at Harvard University. Let us all pray for the health of our nation and for all who give so much of themselves for all our wellness.
