The Faith in the City series invites leaders and thinkers from our city and national life to help the church be people who answer the call to love, serve, and transform the world. Join the Rev. Dr. Simon J. Mainwaring and the Rev. Natosha Reid Rice for these important conversations, once a month at 9:00 a.m. ET.
On March 28, we are excited to welcome Bob Lupton for a discussion about gentrification and neighborhood-based community development. Bob is a community developer, entrepreneur, and founder of Focused Community Strategies (FCS). He has developed two mixed income subdivisions, organized a multi-racial congregation, started a number of businesses, created housing for hundreds of families, and initiated a wide range of human services in his community. He is the author of several books including Toxic Charity and has a Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Georgia..
This conversation will be broadcast live to the All Saints’ Facebook page and website at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 28, 2021.
