Proclaiming the Dream:  Flannery O’Connor’s “Revelation” and “Judgment Day”

Sunday, 10/31/21 at 10:20am

Sundays, October 31 and November 14 from 10:20-11:05 a.m. in P305/306

Flannery O’Connor’s last two short stories address “proclaiming the dream” and black and white interaction in the 1950s and 1960s.  Her stories always “dream” and always address the oppressed vs. the dominant culture, but the two stories we’ll read are the last two stories she wrote.  The titles of these two stories suggest what we’ll discuss:  “Revelation“ and “Judgment Day.”
