ReNew: The Green VBS is an environmentally-focused VBS program that inspires kids and adults to grown in faith, have fun, and change the world as they practice stewardship of creation. It focuses on one story: Jesus’ Parable of the Sower.

You can still expect many of the things you love about VBS—kids will learn about Jesus, explore God’s Word, sing and celebrate, play and pray—but we have modified the program to make it green, centered on stewardship of creation, action-oriented for a big impact on the participants, our community and the world.

It is also a “family affair”—where you will be formed as a family around the idea of how to be good stewards of creation. It’ s not often that we get to learn and play together with our children which will lead to great theological conversations and faith-based decisions for your family’s footprint on the environment. God’s creation is a gift we all share—caring for it together is both a good work and a collective act of faith.
