We are

ALL SAINTS, ALL SORTS.

All Saints’ embraces the diversity of God's creation and welcomes people of all ages, races, nationalities, gender identities, sexual orientations, neurological and physical differences, mental health statuses, socio-economic situations, and political persuasions to full participation in the life and ministry of our community, including lay and ordained leadership.

This abiding commitment and aspiration to promote inclusion in the church is reflected through our work for justice, equity, and reconciliation in the world.

All Saints' stands on a storied tradition of faith in action, including but not limited to...

THE Ministers' Manifesto

In the 1950s, our clergy joined other religious leaders to organize the Ministers’ Manifesto, a statement of our belonging to one another that sought to transcend racial divides at the time.  This work continues today through our efforts towards racial equity and healing.

LGBTQ+ Inclusion

By the mid-1980s, All Saints' was known for welcoming the gay community and ministering with compassion among those affected by AIDS. Our clergy have officiated same-sex unions in the church since 2004 (followed by marriage, once legal), along with the baptisms of countless children of same-sex parents. Today, LGBTQ+ persons are visible in leadership throughout the parish, staff, and clergy. We are profoundly enriched by the multidimensional tapestry of individuals and families who make All Saints' home.

SERVICE MINISTRIES

Grounded in our Christian responsibility to love our neighbors and promote the common good, our four core ministries each began at All Saints' and have grown to meet the evolving needs of our city. They include Midtown Assistance Center (MAC), All Saints' Refugee Ministries, Threads clothing ministry for children and families, and the Covenant Community life-stabilization program for men recovering from addiction. Through these and other vital community and global ministries, All Saints’ has served as a steadfast beacon for God's love and justice in the world.

NOW WHAT?

We are proud of All Saints' vibrant legacy of faith and courage in the face of suffering and oppression. We also know there is still much work to do!  We invite you to join us in seeking God's reign here on earth as we strive to know, love, and serve our neighbors in Atlanta and beyond.
