Joel is a cradle Episcopalian from Roswell, GA. Throughout his middle and high school years he was active in his youth group and in Diocesan Youth Ministry. After a two year sojourn to Athens, during which he studied Automotive Technology, he returned to Atlanta to continue his studies at Georgia State University where he focused his attention on psychology and religion.
During his summers in college, he worked as a Summer Staffer at Camp Mikell, our diocesan camp. Around All Saints’, you’re most likely to find him in the Attic working and playing with our younger congregants or corralling the acolytes. Like any youth minister worth his salt, Joel is a decent guitar player and enjoys sports that have to do with frisbees. In his free time, he enjoys fiddling with cars, reading, or playing with his dog, Hank.
