Throughout Lent, we're sharing a series of videos to highlight the impact of each of our pastoral care ministries. We'll release one video per week via email, our website, and social media channels.
This week's video features Dori Wofford and her experience serving with the Bereavement Callers. The Bereavement Callers are trained members of the parish who periodically reach out by phone and follow up with those who have recently experienced the loss of a loved one. If you would like to join this ministry, please click the link below or contact the church office at 404-881-0835.

Hi, I'm Dori Wofford and I'd like to tell you about the Bereavement Committee.
We are a small group of All Saints' volunteers. We telephone bereaved parishioners who have just suffered a significant loss in hope that talking to a compassionate listener might ease —even just a little — the trauma of losing someone you love dearly.
We have been trained to help people talk about their grief and be with them as they move toward new purpose in their lives. It is a moving and poignant ministry.
Callers work in teams of two and are scheduled for two months each year, although we may stay in contact with someone longer if needed.
If you are grieving yourself and would like a call from the Bereavement Committee or if you would like to help us and volunteer, please click the link below or contact the church office (404-881-0835).
