On Good Friday we quiet ourselves to confront the suffering of Christ on the cross and the suffering of God’s people in the world. At noon we reflect on Jesus’ last words from the cross and then join our neighborhood churches in walking the way of the cross in Midtown.
Consider a walk before or after the noonday service or before the Midtown Stations of the Cross. Please allow at least 10-15 minutes to walk and reflect. Contact Barrie Gibby,
Help us bring the story of God’s love to the people of our city with a beautiful Easter Vigil in Piedmont Park, near the 12th St. & Piedmont Ave. entrance. Bring your comfortable clothes and something to sit on and enjoy stunning jazz music, poetry and prayer as we set a light in the gathering dark of evening.
NOTE: There is no The Welcome Table service at 5:00 p.m. on Easter Day.
