Senior Sunday
We welcome all high school students and their families to join us in a blessing for our graduating seniors this Sunday, May 8 at 9:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. . We will pray a blessing over our graduating seniors, and present them with a gift from the congregation to take to college. Family and friends are warmly invited to join this auspicious occasion. Congratulations seniors! |

| At their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, April 25, E.J. Diedrich and Alvin Moore were elected in a unanimous vote to fill the one-year term vacated by Desmond Dorsey and the two-year term vacated by Charlene Smith-Stewart respectively. The vestry extends their heartfelt thanks to E.J. and Alvin for their willingness to serve in leadership at All Saints' on vestry once more. |

Dear saints,
A few years ago I asked my mother what the hardest thing was about raising three children by herself. Without missing a beat, she answered, 'the three-way arguments'. I suspect that for each of us that cognitive conditioning did us well for the years of adult life that followed, and I remain thankful to my mother for the gift of a free-exchange household I enjoyed as a child. This Sunday we will all have the opportunity to give thanks for the many gifts of mothers and for the lives they have nurtured all the way to senior year in high school as we listen to the preaching of four high school seniors of All Saints' this Senior Sunday. What a gift it would be for the seniors in this community to see you and your supportive presence at All Saints' this weekend. If you haven't been to the block for a while, this Mother's Day is a great day to make that comeback, and if you are out of town, please do pray for all those who are mothers to others and for those they raise and nurture within the love of God.
Peace, |

Vacation Bible School - Water, Water Everywhere!

Giving: Surpassing Goals Again
May is Remember the Church Offering month
Remember how we used to bring some cash for the offering plate to church? Let’s remember to tuck a few dollars in our pockets for Sunday morning. The Varsity next door may have a sign out “We are a cashless facility” but the church welcomes each and every gift. Join me and put some money in the plate instead of giving the “No Thanks” hand when the plate gets passed.
Make a pledge or gift today! Thank you.
There are many ways to give:

| CALF-Out of Hand Theater Performance |
Sunday, May 15, 4:00 p.m., Ellis Hall
Did you know Georgia leads the world in the percentage of citizens in prison, jail, detention, and juvenile justice facilities? More than a half million Georgians are behind bars or under supervision. How do they rebuild their lives after prison? How do we respond to them once they have paid their debt to society?
On Sunday afternoon, parishioner Ariel Fristoe will bring her award-winning Out of Hand Theater to All Saints’ for a free performance of Calf, a one-act play by Leviticus Jelks. We’ll follow Bull Willis, just released from prison, as he tries to find a place to live and a job and connect with a son he’s never met. After the performance we’ll have a conversation about mass incarceration facilitated by members of the Georgia Justice Project. The issue of criminal justice directly faces one out of every eighteen Georgians. As followers of Jesus, we are all affected.
Please click the link below and use the password “allsaints” to register for this free performance.
