 | Practicing Faith in a Secular Age
The Rev. Dr. Lauren Winner is Associate Professor of Christian Spirituality at Duke Divinity School and writes and lectures widely on Christian practice and the history of Christianity in America.
Lauren’s writing explores the intersection of faith and practice and traces her own journey from Judaism to Christianity. Hear how our practice of faith might be reformed for an increasingly secular age.

Dear saints,
I'm sure you are familiar with the saying, 'practice what you preach'. This Sunday we will be joined by Lauren Winner, one of America's foremost preachers and writers whose most recent work has explored the role of Christian practice in our increasingly secular society. One of the ideas we will explore in our forum conversation in Ellis Hall is how we might be formed as followers of Christ by the intersection of street and sanctuary. How do the hurts and longings of this city form us and inspire us to be stewards of good news in unique and particular ways? I invite you to come and imagine how your life and our life together might be a light for and in the city.
Peace, |

Cain-Oscar Bergeron joins the Baroque band on the traverso, a wooden instrument preceding the Western concert flute. | "I made my planned gift to All Saints' decades ago. I have left a specific amount of money to All Saints' in my will. To me, the only way church is going to survive going forward is to have the funds and the people to make a difference in the community. Making a planned gift to All Saints' is the simplest way to make sure this happens after we are gone." —Anne-Marie Sparrow, All Saints’ parishioner for 40 years

Thank you so much to John Pinkard, Anne Stanford, Kris Birkness and Margaret Daniel for taking three of our new former refugee families to the zoo on Saturday. One of the most healing things that can happen for a newly arrived refugee family is to be offered hospitality and welcome in parts of the city outside of Clarkston.

A tremendous thanks to all who participated in our parish-wide Lenten service project this past Sunday! We give thanks for the vibrant ministries growing through the grace of local partners, Shereetha Jackson, from Church of the Common Ground, as well as Laura DeGroot and Tracy Woodard, from Intown Collaborative Ministries, and All Saints' seminarian, Junmey Wang.
Particular thanks goes to Elizabeth Robertson and Mary Jo and Howard Walker, as well as to the Young Adult Community at All Saints', for their generosity in sponsoring the creation of such blessing bags for neighbors in our city (whose weary feet will be refreshed by these foot care kits, distributed in the weekly clinic administered by Church of the Common Ground).

A big THANK YOU to the Children’s Choir parents who laundered our collection of red choir robes (over 120 in various sizes) so that we looked crisp and clean at Sunday’s Children’s Service.
It was a great group effort and an important contribution to help us feel important and look our best.
