Rite 13 is a program designed for emerging adults (typically 7th or 8th graders) to explore their relationship with themselves, God, and the world. With parallels to the Jewish bar/bat mitzvah, Rite 13 culminates in a rite of passage ceremony with the teens and parents. For more information, contact the Rev. Zack Nyein.
Open to all youth grades 8 and up, confirmation provides participants with the opportunity for 6 to 12 months of intensive exploration of the Christian faith. At the end of the course, youth may choose to make a public profession of faith and be baptized if not already or affirm the vows made by their parents at their baptism as a child or infant. Participation in the class does not commit one to being confirmed at the end. For more information, contact the Rev. Zack Nyein.
Each summer, All Saints' 10th Graders have the opportunity to go on summer pilgrimage to a holy site. Pilgrimage is a ten-day journey with limited technology and few luxuries that enables the heart and mind to focus on seeking God with one's fellow travelers. Previous destinations have included Cape Town, Ireland, Alaska, Spain, Croatia, Greece, Scotland, and Rio de Janeiro. For more information, contact the Rev. Zack Nyein.
