Simon Mainwaring is rector of All Saints’, Atlanta. Simon has ministered in schools, hospitals, and parish churches in the U.S. and also in Europe, Asia and Africa. He a pastor and a theologian, and is author of two books and a number of journal articles. Simon loves All Saints’ for its commitment to the city, its energy and joy, and for its sense of possibility for the future. Simon serves on the boards of the Absalom Jones Center for Racial Healing, in Atlanta, and the Compass Rose Society, supporting the work of the worldwide Anglican Communion.
Simon is originally from England and was educated at Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, and Birmingham where he earned a PhD in biblical theology. He is married to Monica, who is also an Episcopal priest. Monica and Simon have three children. In his spare time Simon enjoys time with his family, cycling, traveling and cheering on his beloved English soccer team, Tottenham Hotspur.
