Children’s Choirs Begin Again!

Singing Outside!

Weekly rehearsals start on Wednesday, August 25 in Tate Courtyard

For the present time, Wednesday choir rehearsals for children—ages PreK through 6th grade—will be held outside under tents in Tate Courtyard when we sing. We will also take non-singing walks through the church and chapel to learn about our worship space. Weekly rehearsals begin Wednesday, August 25 with the following schedule:

• Cherub: 4:00 – 4:30 p.m. (Must be 4 years old by September 1, 2021)
• Primary: 4:35 – 5:00 p.m. (1st & 2nd graders)
• Junior: 5:15- 6:00 p.m. (3rd – 6th graders)
• Junior Handbell Choir: 6:00-6:30 p.m. (4th – 6th graders)

Plans include learning a song that goes with each stained-glass window in the church, learning about the organ with Director of Music Kirk Rich, finding and studying the symbols in our worship spaces, as well as singing beautifully together. Masks will be worn indoors until further notice. Masks will be worn until further notice. Wednesday Night Suppers will be served outside; homework and game stations will be in Ellis Hall. Let’s get back together, but gather safely.
