Dear saints,
We’ve been treated to three spectacular Sundays this month with preachers and teachers who have helped us name what has been most central to this church’s life and mission. As I commented to a parishioner coming out of church this past Sunday morning, it’s like we’re watching a month-long All Saints’ all-stars team reunion! What a gift it has been.
It is because of the deep generosity of so many in this parish that we are able to be the church we wish to be today and into the future. Many of you have already pledged, and we are in a strong financial place this year thanks to you partnership in ministry here. If you have yet to make your financial commitment to All Saints’ by making a pledge for 2022, I invite you to do so today. Every pledge matters. Your pledge matters. If you have not pledged before, or not in a while, or if you have been unsure about your pledge this year, I invite you take the leap and put your faith in this Body of Christ through which we are able to make a transformative difference in the lives around us.
Thank you for all you give and for your trust in what we are becoming.
Peace, |

Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Absalom Jones
Sunday, February 6
Also on Sunday, February 6, we will celebrate the life and legacy of the Rev. Absalom Jones, the first African American priest in the Episcopal Church. Known for his prophetic sermons, his work to make the Episcopal Church more inclusive of Black Americans, and his leadership of the abolitionist movement, we remember him liturgically near the date of his death (February 13, 1818).
This year, we will continue our musical partnership with the Singing Sisters of Ebenezer Baptist Church, under the leadership of Laura English-Robinson. The Singing Sisters will join us for the 9:00 and 11:15 a.m. services in the church.

“God is alive and the Holy Spirit is moving and making all things new. The church is not going to die nor is it going to be ill forever. Even now the opportunity for health is upon us. Do you want to be healed? I hope the answer for the church and for the religious leaders of our generation is 'YES.'” —Bishop Andy Doyle, TX
