Dear saints,
This weekend we will say farewell to 2022 and welcome a new year, hearing once more the invitation to live the sort of life we most feel called to. The idea that we get to start anew lies at the heart of the Christian faith. Given that, and in a shameless plug for All Saints', is there really a better place to start New Year's Day than in church? For this a place dedicated to the grace and love of God wherein our hopes and longings might hope to find their ultimate expression. More prosaically, perhaps getting back into the churchgoing habit is the resolution you'd like to return to this year. It's easy to forget how good it feels to share community with others when we've been without it for a while. Whatever might bring you here, I'd rather be nowhere else than praising God with you in this place.
God be with you all for 2023!
Peace,
