Answers to FAQS

How many services ARE there?

Starting Sunday, May 30, we will offer indoor services in the church sanctuary and Ellis Hall at 9:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. as well as an outdoor service in Kennedy Courtyard at 8:00 a.m.

Where DO the services take place?

Starting Sunday, May 30, we will have indoor services in the church sanctuary and Ellis Hall and an outdoor service in Kennedy Courtyard. When you arrive, you will check-in and be seated by pod or household.

What ARE the serviceS like?

These are services of Holy Communion, which include a sermon and music provided by instrumentalists and designated singers; congregational singing is permitted for outdoor services, but not for indoor services. There will be communion of one kind (bread), which will be distributed at the altar and at other communion stations, and ushers will direct people to come forward by pod.

Do we still need masks and distancing? What if I'm vaccinated?

Right now, our protocols still require keeping six feet of distance and wearing a mask while on campus, including for those who are vaccinated. We have extra masks in case anyone forgets to bring one; children ages two and under are not required to wear masks.

How can I follow along?

Starting on Sunday, May 30, we will be able to provided printed bulletins again. We also send an email on Sunday mornings which includes a link to the service bulletin and you can find it on this page of our website.

What happens if the service is full?

We can have a limited number of people attend each service, but we offer multiple services so that everyone who wants to attend is able to do so.

Will the outdoor service be cancelled in the case of bad weather?

Will Online Worship Continue?
