Holy Saturday

In the Garden: A Vigil for the City
Saturday, April 20, 7:30 p.m., Dockside, Clara Meer Dock at Piedmont Park
During this Saturday evening vigil, we will welcome the Resurrection light as it breaks into the darkness of night. Join us in the midst of our city as we unite our hearts to the earliest followers of Jesus in this ancient service of story and song, shadows and light, creatively imagined for our time and place. This service will take place at the iconic dockside landing in Piedmont Park, accessible from 12th Street and Piedmont Avenue. Seating will be limited, so bring a lawn chair or a blanket. Singers of all skill-levels are invited to rehearse at 7:00 p.m. and to sing in our “pickup” choir, and all are welcome (but not required) to bring a dessert to share as we begin the Easter feast together! For more information, contact The Rev. Zack Nyein at znyein@allsaintsatlanta.org.

Easter Sunday

Celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ at one of six Easter Day worship services. Greet the morning at the Great Easter Vigil, when the Paschal candle will be lit from the bonfire in Kennedy Courtyard. Or join us in worship later in the morning for Holy Eucharist in the church or with all ages in Ellis Hall. The day will be filled with celebratory music featuring the All Saints’ Choir and brass quintet, and the church will be filled with beautiful flowers to the glory of God. Bring a few freshly cut flowers with you to help flower the cross on our front lawn, transforming it into a beautiful symbol of the Resurrection.
