Novel Theology

Literature lends shape to our understanding of ideas like love, compassion, forgiveness, redemption. In other words, those markers we encounter in following Christ. Everyone is welcome to join us for any or all of our Novel Theology book discussions.

We meet mostly third Wednesdays of each month, 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. in Parish House 307. The reading list and schedule for 2019 is below.

Cathedral Bookstore

The Cathedral Bookstore at St. Philip’s Cathedral will have the Novel Theology selections available for purchase. Please call them at 404-237-0831 if you would like copies held for you. You may also visit their website at www.cathedralbookstore.org for directions and store hours. (Note: The Cathedral Bookstore is making these titles available in support of the Novel Theology ministry for in store purchase only. They are not available from the Cathedral Bookstore website.)

2019 Reading List

Novel Theology will return in 2019 with a diverse slate of books. We’ll encounter Catholic priests in the precarious territory of New Mexico, the haunted memories of an escaped slave, secrets in the gleaming community of Shaker Heights, a theological puzzle that is both personal and historic, and finally, a road trip to (possible) enlightenment.
