A Note From the Rector

Dear saints,

In previous years this weekend our parish would be celebrating all that we love to be and do up at Kanuga, for our annual parish retreat. Of course, Covid has changed that, as indeed it has changed so much about our life together. We are not, though, without opportunities to be the church with one another. I commend to you our new All Saints' Connects small groups ministry, and the many different classes and groups that meet on Sunday mornings and through the week. Recognizing that there is something special about being in person, starting this Sunday we will host a labyrinth walk at All Saints', which you can sign up for online, details of which are given below. We'd also love to hear what you are ready for in terms of in-person outdoor worship on Sundays, so please do complete the very short three-question survey in this e-news.

There is much we miss but we will not miss our chance to be creative in forging a life together as this pandemic remains in our midst. I pray that however you spend this weekend that you will know God's grace inviting you forward and the love of this parish holding you up. You are a gift in my life; may we each be a gift to one another.

Peace,

Giving
It's Time to Make Your 2021 Annual Canvass Pledge: Lifting Through Generosity!

All Saints' has been able to "pivot" during COVID-19 and offer worship, formation, connection to each other and service to our city - all online.

All Saints' remains financially strong in 2020. We can be proud that 82 cents of every dollar we raise goes to program and outreach. We could not accomplish this without your participation. Visit allsaintsatlanta.org/giving to make your pledge today as an investment in a community that does the heavy lifting.

This week's video focuses on our support of Covenant Community and how lives are being changed every day.

Thank you,

Danny and Louisa Johnson

Your participation will be very much appreciated. Please click here to inquire about providing a meal and Barbara Blender will be in touch to help coordinate.

Each boxed meal feeds a family of five; the cost is $75 per box. The families will also receive warm winter coats from the Threads Coat Drive. In addition, Children's Ministries will make special Blessing Bags to be distributed to our neighbors experiencing homelessness. We also invite volunteers to help deliver the meals on Tuesday, November 24. Please click here to donate and/or sign up to deliver meals.
