 Rector
A Note From the Rector

Dear Saints,

Happy Valentine's Day from All Saints'. Not sure if you have ever had a priest wish you happy Valentine's before, but when we get down to the heart of the matter, the church is about the love we receive, and give, and share. As rector, I see that love expressed in a great variety of ways, especially in the ministry of leadership that many exercise in our parish. At this time of year, we enter a season of discernment for those who might feel the call to vestry leadership at All Saints', the members of this church who serve as my primary partners in leading the parish in the present and into the future. This year's vestry, of course, will be charged with some key decisions regarding the future of our block, working in close and continued collaboration with the parish. Should you feel that vestry service is a ministry you could offer your gifts to please do add your name to the nominations process. I will pray for your leadership and I invite you to pray for mine. There is a rich and vibrant journey ahead of us.

Peace,

In the subsequent two sessions, Atlanta actors Chris Kayser and Neal Ghant will reenact the unprecedented conversation that took place after the massacre between Carey Wilmer, rector of St. Luke's Episcopal Church at the time, and W.E.B.
