A Note From the Rector
Dear Saints,
What makes a community? I have often heard people say, whether those who are bereaved, or who are caring for a loved one, or who are contemplating significant life decisions that they don't know how those without community make their way through such challenges. I have often heard those things, and I heard them at All Saints' this very week. Birth, death, looking to the twilight of life and anticipating life's beginning, all of it in the course of one week of church life together. What a remarkable privilege it is to be a priest, to bear witness to the breathtaking tenacity of human life. What makes a community? You do. I do. We all do, when we commit to share who we are for all we're worth in the eyes of God, which is more than we can ever imagine. I pray that you will find community here, and in that finding, discover more of the wholeness God knows you to be.
