A Note From the Rector
Dear Saints,
I enjoyed a holy conversation with one of our parishioners this week who described what we share on our block at All Saints' as an 'Eden.' It is a haven in the city where we have chosen to persist in being a place where people truly meet one another. Lives have intersected, and in doing so discovered the God who abides in us all. How we abide, how we dwell in the life of this city will be the theme of this Sunday's beginning of the new 'Faith in the City' series, a four-part exploration of what it might look like to live out our faith through the concerns of our city. We will start with housing; a pressing topic in Atlanta as indeed it is across the nation. Renee Glover will be our forum speaker. She is formerly Chief Executive Officer of the Atlanta Housing Authority, chair of Habitat for Humanity International's board, and she served on two national bipartisan housing policy commissions, charged with making recommendations to the United States Congress. On Wednesday night, following Renee's time with us on Sunday, Natosha Reid Rice and I will co-lead a deeper dive session that will allow us to delve more into how our faith might inform our part in the conversation around us regarding housing. I hope that you will find this series stimulating and that it will provoke a deeper engagement for you and your faith in this city we call home.

Giving
What does it look like to be called to a life of generosity?
Giving can be an antidote to the anxiety that we do not have enough money. When you feel anxious, try making a gift - to church, to a favorite cause, to your neighbor - whatever it is, giving can help bring you closer to what you care about. If you haven't yet made your pledge to All Saints', go online and join us in all giving together at
allsaintsatlanta.org/giving.
Thank you!
