A Note From the Rector
Dear Saints,
There are so many gifts and talents that are offered at All Saints', week by week, as we seek to serve God and love our neighbors in this place and time. This Sunday, people will meet to help plan the future shape of our parish life ministries, while others will begin to formulate plans for our annual canvass in the Fall. There will be classes on parenting teens, story-telling sessions led by our own parishioners, an exploration of the Prayer Book as a guide for the spiritual life, a concert by one our choir soloists, the continuation of The Cross and the Lynching Tree book study led by Catherine Meeks, and in between all of that, Jesus will show up on the front page, children and youth will wonder about God's place in their own lives, and a few hundred people will pray and sing and give thanks for all that we share in this life together as a church. I am so honored to lead this community and to serve you all as we seek God's loving purposes for this parish and for this city. May you be blessed this weekend, and share that blessing far and wide.
