Habitat BuildSix Saturdays from
Oct. 11 - Nov. 22
It’s time to sign up for the Habitat Build! We will build for seven Saturdays beginning Oct. 11 and ending Nov. 22, just in time for the family to have Thanksgiving dinner in their completed home. Workers are needed each Saturday to work from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Volunteers are asked to commit to the entire time period for the day they volunteer. Volunteers must be 16 years or older. All different skill levels are welcome – you do not have to be a professional handy man/woman to volunteer!
We are also in need of volunteers to provide snacks and lunches for the workers. This is a great way for families with young children to get involved. Another great idea is to get your Foyer group, EFM group, Gift group, or Women’s Circle group to join you in providing food. There will be approximately 50 workers on the job site who will greatly appreciate your snacks and lunch!
Ready to sign up? Click here for a schedule of the build dates along with corresponding tasks for each day. Decide on a day (or days) and contact Bert and Liz Jacobs at lizzyjacobs@comcast.net. Sign up sheets will also be available at church at the Habitat Build table on Sundays and during the week. The table is located in the glass foyer of Eliis Hall or in the courtyard.
