A Note From the Rector
Dear Saints,
Last Sunday, fellow pilgrims and I had the opportunity to sit with the Very Reverend Dr. Hosam Naoum, who only a few weeks before was elected Bishop Coadjutor of The Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem. As he shared the history of the diocese, Hosam described how they had built the diocese 'the Jesus way' by serving the world first establishing 34 charitable institutions, including two major hospitals, several clinics and rehabilitation centers, and more than a dozen schools, as well as 28 churches. It is rare to find a diocese in our tradition, or indeed any Christian denomination, that has more outreach centers than churches, yet in the land of the holy one, doing things 'the Jesus way' is hard not to take inspiration from.
As we begin our Lenten journey together, individually and collectively, we could do a lot worse than to take our cue from our siblings in Christ in the Middle East. Often, the 'Jesus way' is not what we were expecting it to be. We will be stopped in our tracks from time to time, yet if we remain open to the Savior who has gone ahead of us we will find that the Jesus way is one of profound and life-changing faithfulness and truth.
May God bless you this Lent as you seek to walk with Christ.

Given the widening reach of the current strain of the coronavirus, and based on the protocols for public health issues we have in place at All Saints', we are encouraging the following practices:
- If you are unwell please refrain from coming to church.
- Alcohol gel dispensers are available for use throughout the campus, and we encourage people to use them on the way in and out of church.
- All clergy and Eucharistic Ministers have been instructed to use alcohol gel before serving communion.
- Communicants remain welcome to drink from a common communion cup. Persons who intinct/dip the wafer into the cup should be careful only to dip the end of the wafer in the wine keeping fingertips clear.
- At the passing of the Peace, parishioners are welcome to make a sign of peace rather than shake hands if they prefer to do so.
We are continuing to monitor CDC and Georgia Health Department communications regarding best practices and will continue to communicate with the parish on an ongoing basis.
