A Note From the Rector
Dear Saints,
Remembrance has been an essential part of the life of faith since our Hebrew forebears recalled their days of wandering in the wilderness. The word 'remember' appears repeatedly throughout the Bible, inviting us to be a people who make our way forward in life by looking back at the path we have already trod. That will certainly be our call this Sunday, as we mark Veterans Day, seeking to remember those among us within and beyond the parish whose sacrifices were made on our behalf. As is our tradition, the Georgia Boy Choir will also join us on Sunday morning, offering through their song a living testament to the future, as we strive together to build a more peaceful and just world. May we each be instruments of God's peace, and may we remember well all those we seek to give thanks for this weekend.
