A Note From the Rector
Dear Saints,
Blessings to you and your loved ones this All Saints' Day weekend! As is so often true in the life of the church, we will run the whole gamut from death to new life as we mark this parish's 116th celebration of the Feast of All Saints. On Friday night, we will call to mind and lift up to God's loving care those in our lives whom we love yet see no more with a beautiful Requiem Service for All Souls. Even if you are not able to join us for that service, I invite you to pause that night for a moment of remembrance for those who have died. I know that there will be dear ones I will be bringing in my heart with me on Friday, trusting that the love that we know in Christ Jesus never leaves us nor lets us go. I pray that you will feel the same assurance. On Sunday, our quiet remembrance will turn to boisterous festivity, with outstanding music, radiant worship, and a gastronomical wonder in the Taste of All Saints' in Ellis Hall running through the morning. In the midst of all of this, we will give thanks for your remarkable generosity in pledging to this parish. Thank you for all that you are and do in helping us build this church together. Here's to year 117, and to many, many more to come.
