Palm Sunday - Sunday, April 2
We celebrate Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, processing palms around the block. Then we move inside to hear the dramatic retelling of his passion with live actors. Our children and youth lead the passion reading and music in Ellis Hall at 9:00 a.m.
Maundy Thursday – Thursday, April 6
On this day, we observe Jesus' mandate (from which Maundy Thursday takes its name) "That you love one another, as I have loved you." At 5:30 p.m., we share a potluck meal, participate in foot washing, and celebrate the Lord's supper.
Please register on Realm by April 1 and select a potluck dish to share (bring enough to feed 5-6 persons). Questions? Contact Jill Gossett at
Good Friday – Friday, April 7
We follow in the way of the cross (Via Crucis), contemplating the meaning of grace in our lives. Then we collaborate with neighborhood churches to pray the stations of the cross across midtown Atlanta.
Please note: There is no vigil in the park this year. We are going to observe Earth Day on April 22 at 6:00 p.m.
Easter Day – Sunday, April 9
Alleluia! Christ is risen! Join us for the principal feast of the Christian year, with Holy Eucharist, soaring music including timpani and brass, stunning flowers, and our full community gathered together.
* The rain location for the start of Easter Vigil is the Church.
