Dear saints,
As you can see in its beautifully redesigned format, our weekly e-news has a fresh look. The new-look e-news is part of the work a communications task force has done over the past year and more. Our hope has been to refresh all of our communications to help us tell our story as a church more clearly and consistently in ways that will help us draw people in and build community on and off the block. I am so very grateful for the leadership of Luke Barton in chairing this task force and for Zack Nyein, Lisa Bell and Jocelyn Cassada on staff who have worked long hours in recent weeks to bring us to this point. On Sunday, Zack will lead a forum following the 10:00am service and I invite you to join him as he reveals to the parish our new website. We believe that we have a wonderful story to tell of a vibrant, inclusive and loving church, committed to serving God in the world around us, and we are so glad to have these renewed tools to equip us do that. Help us spread that story by inviting others in and by leading us out into this city. Here’s to all of the stories to come.
Peace, |

| Sin: Our Eyes Gravitating in Choir with David Pacini |
Sundays, December 6, 13, and 20, 9:00-9:55 a.m., on Zoom |
Join Emory Theology Professor David Pacini for this series: “Sin is an important, if often overlooked, component of racial reconciliation. It is altogether tempting to account ourselves free of specific transgressions when confessing to one another. But from Paul, Augustine and Calvin to Jonathan Edwards, sin has been understood as a distortion of seeing from which none of us escape unaided. In the course of this class, we will use art history to discern the role of the conception of sin in informing and legitimating all forms of racism.”

During the week of Thanksgiving, 37 saints delivered 59 Thanksgiving meal kits prepared by the men of Covenant Community to the former refugee families we serve through our Refugee Ministries program and to the graduates of Covenant Community who live at the Sterne House.
In addition, Children’s Ministries created 180 Blessing Bags for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.
Special thanks to everyone who supported this effort!
