A Note From the Rector

Dear Saints,

This Sunday we will hear as a parish what we have been learning from other churches who have been imagining future possibilities for their buildings and grounds across a wide range of settings. The short version of what will be shared at the all parish forum this weekend is that there is a lot of dynamic and creative work happening all across the country. As we come to the end of this year of learning together from those beyond us, it's exciting to imagine what we might dream of together next year as we discern as a parish the future of our block and how we might further our mission not only in our own place in time, but for future generations. I do hope that you can join us, and lend your voice, not only this Sunday but very importantly next year when we will want to hear everybody's insights and views and passions for the life that we share and for the city we are called to serve.

Peace,

Future of Our Block  Steering Committee
Sunday, November 24, 10:20-11:05 a.m.,

Join the Future of Our Block Work
In preparation for next year's discernment as a parish over the future of our block, as we seek to leave a legacy for mission for generations to come, two new teams are being formed: the Parish History Committee and the Parish Engagement Committee. Most of the Parish History Committee's work will be focused on January next year. The work of the Parish Engagement Committee will focus on activity in March to June and then again from August to October. If you are interested in serving on either committee, please contact The Rev. Dr. Simon Mainwaring at smainwaring@allsaintsatlanta.org.
