A Note From the Rector

Dear Saints,

This Sunday we will have the second of our Learning Together forums in Ellis Hall following the 9:00am service as we continue to discern together the future of our block. Since our first meeting in March, the Future of our Block Steering Committee has been busy, meeting representatives from Georgia Tech and Emory University Hospital Midtown respectively, and also meeting with others across the city and around the country on our various travels.  As we continue with this learning process, we are seeing how certain concepts are repeating themselves in relation to how others are making use of their own buildings and grounds. Spaces that foster wide ranging collaboration, environments that make innovation a cultural norm, work and living spaces that intentionally bring people together across an array of interests and shared goals, are all features we find others hold in common. In many ways, these values might describe the life of the church too, certainly a church as wide-ranging in passions and personalities as All Saints'. There is still much to learn and I do encourage you to lend your voice to this season of discernment, this weekend and in the time to come.

Peace,
