Job Openings

Open Position: Music Director

All Saints’ Episcopal Church is a large, inclusive and welcoming community of faith in the heart of Atlanta, and is distinguished by its long-standing commitment to excellence in music.  Following the retirement of Ray Chenault after 43 years of dedicated music leadership, All Saints’ is seeking an outstanding leader and highly talented individual to serve as Music Director and lead all elements of our music ministries into the future as we seek as a church to extend our reach to the city around us.

Music Ministries Today

Adult Choir: Music ministries at All Saints’ are vibrant and of the highest quality across the age ranges, with  five choirs. The parish adult choir consists of over forty choristers, both volunteer and paid, and all auditioned.  It has sung at national music conventions, the Washington National Cathedral, the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, and the Piccolo Spoleto Music Festival, and has commissioned, recorded and premiered over twenty-five choral works. It sings the highest caliber of Anglican and other music and performs a wide repertoire from Bach cantatas to Jazz Masses.  The adult choir sings the 9:00 and 11:15 services on Sunday mornings, and special choral works are presented with orchestral accompaniment on Christmas, Easter, and All Saints’ Sunday.

Kenan Organ: In 2003, All Saints’ installed the James G. Kenan Memorial Pipe Organ, one of the largest and best instruments of its kind in the United States. The organ features four manuals and pedal board, sixty-three stops, and eighty-seven ranks and over 5,143 individual pipes.

Children and Youth Choirs: All Saints’ has a thriving youth and children’s choir program with four choirs and a handbell ensemble, under the leadership of a dedicated Director of Youth and Children’s Music and part-time accompanist. The children and youth choirs sing for worship and special parish events throughout the school year. The junior choir produces an annual musical presented to the parish and the youth choir goes on an out-of-town weekend singing tour each year, leading worship at host churches.

Concert Series: Our music program also includes an annual concert series that attracts internationally known singers, choirs, chamber groups, organists and other instrumentalists.
