Sunday Night Live (SNL)
Throughout the school year, on Sunday evenings (6-7:30 p.m.), we provide opportunities for young people to meet on a more informal basis, through a program called Sunday Night Live (SNL). Groups, organized into grades 7-8 and 9-12 groups, meet monthly, enabling our youth to gather together in a Christian community for exciting and worthwhile fellowship, without the challenge of meeting a weekly evening commitment.
Each program includes music, skits and games, a speaker, and opportunities for spiritual exploration through worship and prayer. Once the groups are established, they are encouraged and invited to plan and execute other activities, i.e., bowling, ice-skating, service projects, fund-raisers, weekend trips, diocesan events, etc.
We invite our parents to volunteer to provide meals for these Sunday night events.
Boy Scouts – Troop 42 and Pack 42

All Saints’ association with the Boy Scouts of America began in the early 1900s and was in and out of existence for many years. By the late 1970s, however, the troop was active and was one of a few groups to be racially integrated. The program was a model for bringing scouting to the inner city, and “Operation First Class,” now a national corporate organization, modeled itself after All Saints’ original initiatives.
Our present Troop 42 and Pack 42, a few years younger, enable boys from All Saints’ and across Atlanta, ages 7-18, to participate in a wide range of programs such as camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities. It is our goal to fully incorporate the Pack and Troop into our youth ministry umbrella by coordinating schedules, actively recruiting new members, and assisting in any way possible to the overall organization of the group. Cub Scout Pack 42 meets at CW Hill Elementary School, and Boy Scout Troop 42 meets in the Scout hut located in the Tate Hall basement.
